    Default 1982 mercruiser 260

Hopefully a simple question...I am installing my 260 (350 cid) back in my boat and I forgot how the rear mounting bolts go back in. I have a long bolt with a 1/2" spacer, larger dia. washer and a lock washer/spring that is 1/4 inch tall, and the nut on the bottom. Most of it is self explanitory but the spring looking lock washer. Does it go all by itself between the motor mount and the outdrive unit? Or ??? Thanks in advance. mdc

Carbon washer, spring BELL HOUSING OF COURSE then spacer SA washer then the long rear bolt. Some tape or glue the receiving nut in the inner transom plate so it does not fall out during this process. Thanks
