    Exclamation 1971 Penn Yan

i have a 71 Penn Yan with the 318 chrysler engine in it. i want to make a little more power but not go overboard with it. would i be able to put regular long tube headers on the boat? it is a direct drive inboard unit. i know that the manifolds are water cooled to reduce temps and thought maybe headers with heat wrap would work. if you have any information please let me know. thanks

    Default Headers

Yes you can have headers built for the boat both water injected and or water jacketed for inboard use. If you install the headers and adjust the timing and jetting to accomodate the upgrade it should run better. Custom headers are $$$ Send Pics
