    Default Velocity Stacks

I have a '77' Rochelle with a 460, tunnel ram and Holley 600 carbs. I have a scoop on it but wanting to ditch it for two velocity stacks. I have concerns about rain, spray, etc... getting in to the carbs with this setup. I'm asking for pros and cons on the velocity stacks. Am I worrying too much about it? Thanks

They work well and actually have potential to increase intake velocity, however most have no filter or screen. The environment on the water is fairly clean so you will likley be ok. Usually if we install them, our upholstery guy makes nice tow covers for them. Enjoy!
