    Default Fuel pump question

    Hello,

My question is what would you recommend I use for a fuel pump? Brand and also elect or mech? Been away from hot boats for a lot of years and it seems like the company names I knew to be good 25 years ago aren't even in business anymore.... HELP

The engine is a 468ci, 12.5:1, Comp magnum 288AR cam, Weiand tunnel ram w/2 6109 750cfm carbs it has Merlin heads. It is in a V drive that I want to keep somewhere between 7000 and 7200rpm. The engine builder dyno'd this engine with a single 1050 at 733hp at a little under either 6700 or 6500rpm (I don't have the info right in front of me and I'm old and I think I forget things sometimes)

Really appreciate any advice you can offer, thanks.

    David

Edelbrock has a good pump, I myself run both electric and mechanical.

You can run both, however check out
The new Waterman brushless electric pump. Same and 2012 NASCAR pump but low psi version for you.

BOOSTPOWER, thanks for the info, I went to their website and they are sure proud of their pumps.

Schiada 201, can I get some more details like, model numbers and how you set both pumps up? Would greatly appreciate it, Thanks
