Clarion Subs

Does any one have any experience with the Clarion CMSW10.1s? I am in the middle of redoing my interior and wanted to add 2 subs. I plan on running these off of a Kicker MX 700.5. I know they are intended for free air applications but, my mounting situation will require them to be in a sealed box. Will this present a problem? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

IMO they will actually work better in a box, i think the jl mib10 subs will work better with that amp.

Thanks for the heads-up. I see on your website you've did a few installs with AutoTeks. Are they the same amps of yesterday years (in other words how do they compare to the old AutoTek 44s). I'm also interested in your thoughts on 6.5" coaxials. I'm somewhat on a budget this year for sound (trying to spend less than $1,400 on speakers and amps). Thanks again

the amps are different now the memphis ma6's are "the s#%t" when on a budget. but they are a 6" not a 6.5", so the mounting hole needs to be 5-5.25" not 5.5". the clarion apx line are inexpensive amps.

What is this Almani stuff im starting to see in all the stores? Anyone know about them?

i've heard the name but never delt with the product. we are selective with the product we cary because there is so much out there, i dont thnk my store could hold everything there is. we like to make sure that we make our customers happy with the product they get.
