    are these a decent speaker? not looking for any ground pounding, just something decent in my s10.

    those are decent for $69 but your S10 takes 4X6's in the dash and 4X10's in the back.

    is that the right size for a 1983 s-10? have not pulled the speakers out yet.

    the Infinity plates are good speakers but unless you are adding a sub also, you would be better off using a 4X6 coaxial in the front to get a little more cone area up front. Compare frequency response on the speakers you are looking at for the front. The infinitys are 75-25k. Look for something that plays down to 40 or 50.
