    Default Amp install

Where is the best placement for amps on boats?? I was going to mount them on the back seat in the engine comparment, but realized it gets really hot in there. I also thought behind the seats in the mid cabin, but think the amps may get hot there too. Were do you put them were they can stay nice and cool?? Any trips on how to keep them cool and from clipping?? Thanks

In the cabin behind the seats is optimal (less moisture)- just put some colling fans on them that get the air in, over them, then out. Run the fans of a relay from the remote amp turn on wire.

Engine compartment is probably the last place I'd mount them...even with fans.
