Im usually the LAST person to talk bad about another shops work but what I saw friday in a customers boat was horrible and flat out dangerous. Its so bad, im afraid to attempt to fix it.

Ah thats nothing. Way back in 1990 a guy buys a brand new 33 Powerplay. Installer mounts a big ass Pyramid amp to the wall in the port storage closet with 4 lag bolts.
Imagine the customer suprise when he comes to get his boat and there are four lags sticking out the side of his brand new boat.
He brought it to me a few days later to fix the sound system. The picture of the wires you had there looks pretty.
Believe me i have been in the business for 12 years and have seen hundreds of systems that were installed just like that. Its a wonder that they ever even worked. I guess the saying goes " You get what you PAY for" In custom audio the better deal is almost always the worse way to go. Even A local Al-N-Eds pulled the old screw the ELIMINATOR to the trailer bit! Needles to say that store is no longer in business.
