has anyone put any sub into the bulkhead under the bow? If so, how did they sound in an open boat like that. Is there any reason not to put one into that wall/support? Thanks

I have two 6x9's under the bow of my Rogers with a small amp. Sounds okay I guess. I hardly use the sound system in that boat.
nice! so did you mount them flush into that wall? I'm thinkin just 1 10" with my existing 2 6" jl's,new amp mounted to same wall, loosing my deck & just running a mp3 player. I hate having the deck hanging under the dash & i don't want to cut it into the dash.
yes I pulled out the speaker and drilled through it and the wall bolted it into the 4 corners my subs are very heavy they been there now for 3 yrs .I used the boxes that are made for going behind a trucks seat .

I made my boxes and there out of 3/4 high density sound board to really make them sound clear and strong and as far as your deck they do make decks with a wire less remote that you can but 2 side tape on it and stick it next to you on dash
