Well i learned alot building this boat and i have the oppertunity to buy a boat that better suits what im after 8)
up for sale is a sweet FULL STRINGER 84 Tahiti Jet on a tandem Competitive trailer. i just got done freshening this boat uop from its previous owner and it is in great shape...interior is in great shape, new carpet, new 5x7 speakers, new 12" sub under bow, full sterio system wired with monster cable. the gel coat is in great condition and shines up nice. 4 Point rail engine mount system, manual place diverter, bassett twistie headers..boat runs hard and will be a fun lake rod for anyone looking to get out there and make passes.
the engine is a 454 .030 over with closed chamber large oval port heads with brand new harland sharp roller rockers, dual valve springs, as well as a port and polish job on the heads. the engine makes 9.5:1 compression with the flat top pistons. the forged rotating assembly, port matched Edelbrock RPM Air Gap dual plane intake, mighty demon 850 carb, MSD 7ML ignition, MSD Distributer and coil, Jegs 7psi electric fuel pump, summit mini hi torqe starter, all the bells and whistles...engine runs great.
the pump is a Berkeley JG split bowl that has been highly worked over. the veins have all been highly detailed and a bowl stuffer has been installed. A brand new A cut aluminum impeller, wear ring, thrust bearing, bowl bushings, seals, packing glands, insulator, ect..was all installed brand new this season.
I have done alot to this boat since i got it from the previous owner and have only had it out a couple of times. it is a killer boat.the engine and pump are fresh and only have a matter of maybe an hour max run time.i dont need to sell it nor do i really want to. an oppertunity is within reach for me for another boat that i want and im going to persue it.
only trades i would consider would be for a very nice V-Drive boat
