    Default 21ft RaysonCraft v-drive w/427

I hate to do it, but the Rayson Craft has to go... I got this about a year ago with big plans and Iím finally realizing there arenít enough hours in the day to get this and all the other projects lined up in my garage done.

I have all the details below from the guy I purchased it from. The gel coat is original and in really good shape. It could probably be rubbed out one more time, but thatís about it. There is only one 2in crack in the entire gel coat and as you will read below, it supposedly has hardly any time on it.

Per the previous owner, the 427, TH400 trans and casalle 500 heavy duty V-Drive have only a couple hours of run time since rebuild. The 427 is a 4 bolt is out of a 67 Corvette with 3904351 stamped on the block.

The trailer needs to be repainted and the boat could use new seats (or at least have them re-upholstered). Other than that, it is good to go.

Please txt or call if you have any questions. Thanks, Sean.

    Notes from previous owner:
ďeverything on the boat is new, just rebuilt the carb. replaced all the bolts with stainless except a few, trans and vdrive has aprox 3 hours on it. All the steering, shaft log , and vdrive have new seals, one of the steering fins is bent a little and i just left it that way, fearing damage. All the steering, v drive, cavplate, shaft log, rudder , was set up by Ray Differ in phx in 1979 the boat was in the water maybe 30 times in its whole life. Also replaced. the throttle cable, shifter cable wood and carpet on the trailer and new lights and wires on the trailer.
bought the 427 chevy from a jet boat had a local machine shop that built our sprint car engine bore it, built the heads with all new everything, we put it together about ten years ago and the motor was wrapped in shrink wrap till now. All new seals on the steering, prop shaft, all the rubber on everything, has an electric trim motor from a plane for the cav plate rebuilt that.
Boat is turnkey , ready to go skiing, the only thing thatís ruff is the trailer and its got new bunks lights and tires, only been in the water maybe 100 hours floating its whole life, itís the original jell coat and never been raced or painted, or scratched. I think the gears are 21. I clocked it on my gps at 65mph at 5500 rpm but will turn 6500 rpm in third, the motor has new pistons ,valve, rockers, bore, oil pump, water pump, battery, trans just serviced with new cooler, and Casalle hd 500, has new seals, and oil, new water shaft log seal and bushing, new rudder bushing.Ē
