What RPM will they turn? The 730 ci n/a motors that Gordy built in Rod's 36' Skater would only spin 5,000 continuous safely, making it hard to get good acceleration and still run a big # on top with gearing/pitch combinations. The piston speed associated with such long stroke/large displacement engines makes them unfavorable to continued high rpm use in offshore, that's what seems to be the reason for most of these type motors never exceeding 600 ci. But maybe you've figured out something that nobody else has been able to! Would definitely be cool to have a N/A motor on pump gas w/ 1,000 hp!

7600rpm for race applications 6300 for poker run boats. They are well balanced with great rod ratios. We will be releasing an article in regards to the details soon. Rods motors have all kinds of spacers etc. in a conventional setup which is cool, but our new deal all bolts together and has a tall enough deck and manifold to make it all geometrically work nice. I will upload more pics soon. 😉

Those parts look unbelievably stout, and if all the angles are friendly ...neat.

Whats the approximate bob weight?

250 hours before rings n bearings. 75 on the Supercharged versions and 55 on the Twin Turbo.
