Just received a letter from a collections company called NCO Financual Systems in Horsham, PA. They are asking for $12,000 from a Chase credit card debt which we have not used in years..has anybody heard of this company..also does anybody have the toll free number to call Chase's credit card dept. I could not find it on line...thanks..
This just happened to an employee of mine and believe it or not they sent them 4K... thankfully they told me the story and we immediately got the bank on the phone and cancelled the draft...the bank was like WTF????
The strange thing is that this account is really not active and has not been active for years...I don't thhink that account even shows up on our credit reports...
Because this account is not active does this collections company, NCO Financial, have the ability to place a ding on your credit account even though the account does not exist and no funds are actually owed..they would actually have to have a SS number..thanks..
Focking scammers. Always wondered how many people actually fall for them.
