The New Jersey Performance Powerboat Club has announced that 15 boats have already signed up for the 15th Annual NJPPC Atlantic City Poker Run, slated for Friday, June 22.
NJPPC leader Dave Patnaude said the weekend poker run would disburse in three groups departing from the Lobster Shanty, including a 60-mph class. Participants will depart on Friday and head toward "the ultimate poker run destination"—the recently renovated Golden Nugget Casino hotel and marina (formerly Trump Marina Hotel & Casino), which recently underwent a $150 million facelift. NJPPC has reserved a block of 75 rooms for Friday night and 35 rooms for Saturday night. Patnaude said that the run would be limited to 50 boats, and that there would be an optional Saturday fun run to Sunset Marina in Margate, NJ.
