Promoters of the Rock the Bay Poker Run are reminding potential participants to register early for the event, scheduled for Aug. 17-18 in North East, MD. According to the organizing NCPRA (Northern Chesapeake Poker Run Association), some crews had to be turned away from a previous event for waiting until the last minute, so end your summer in style by registering soon. A fee of $350 includes 2 people, welcoming party breakfast, lunch, dinner, 2 poker hands and 2 event shirts. (Additional riders are $150, including poker hand). This fee is good until Tuesday, Aug. 10, after which it increases to $400. Participation is limited to 100 boats.
