Quake on the Lake, aka the APBA World Championships, will be staged on Michigan's Pontiac Lake July 20-22, it was announced.
Dale Hampshire, chairman of Quake on the Lake (and a member of the Oakland County Community Club, which has put the event on for the past dozen years), says Oakland County is deserving of this honor, given that the county has 1,400 lakes—more than any other county in Michigan.
