    Default New Drain Plugs

New stainless steel garboard style drain with a captive plug. That's right - no more tools, no more lost plugs. The o-ring sealed plug threads in and out by hand. When un-screwed, it only pulls back far enough to let water out.

These units are direct replacements for most standard garboard drains.

We just bought some of these to try out on on new boats. They seem like they are going to work great. Thanks Bob..

How do you get through those inspections at the CA state line if you can not pull the plug out?

Last time I got stopped, I had to pull the plug out completly, if you have an o-ring sealed plug and it only un-screws back far enough to let water out, that is going to piss off the inspectors.

Just wondering. Would like to add these, however might be more of a pain when I bring the boat back home from Havasu.

There are two stages of threads on these, you un screw the first set to just drain and if you want to pull it completely out you pull and keep turning it and it will come out. There really cool we are using them on our boats.

Magic used an unknown source on their boats. They were oval shaped. These aren't specific to any specific boat brand, they'll work on anything. Unfortunately, if your boat is already drilled for the other type, these will not cover up the screw holes.
