Swept Controls for SC1001

I've got an order in with you right now for an SC1001 in red. It's being ordered through Wilkes Marine. I'd love to have swept handles on it but I was told that they are not available on the side mount yet. Is that correct?
Hi, they are not available for the side mount. At this point we have not discussed building them for the side mount. Your control will be going to red ano Monday morning. Do you want the handles to be red ano also, or would you like the base to be red and the handles to be clear ano to offer a contrast? Let me know. Currently, the whole shifter is staged for red ano.

The order was for the handles to be Pewter. I definitely want the contrast. Which is better, Pewter or Clear Ano? If you recommend the clear Ano on the handles, let's go that way.
With the dual buttons on the side, I assume that the forward button is up and the back button is down?
Pewter and red look good together. If your boat has reds and grays, I'd go that route. If there's no grays in the boat, I'd go with the clear ano handles. Clear ano goes with everything where pewter is a gray color, so it may look out of place unless there's some grays on the boat. Either way, we're good to go. Clear and pewter handles are in stock.
The button configuration is correct as you described.

Pewter Handles
The boat is Red with grey trim. Pewter will do it. Let me know if you guys need any pictures after it's done.

Yeah, the wires run through the center of the handle. All of our controls feature an 18 gauge wire, so you actually have something to crimp onto compared to the other controls that have a 24 gauge wire.
