Saturday 11/15 Delta perfection...

I wish I could make it. Looks to be a perfect weather day. I have a side job, and those are pretty hard to come by these days. Better strike while the iron is hot. Hopefully we will have decent next weekend. See ya on the water.

Had beer in a cooler & found many spots along the day to stop
and setup our own bar/boat island! Man, you should of seen the
rat nest in my intake when I finally loaded up! I had tooley weeds
10' long, all sorts of grasses, fishing line w/ 5oz weights still connected
(luckily attached to the weeds & didn't make it into the intake)!!!
We launched out of Orwood, had lunch at Union point, stopped at
Tiki & finally made it to Tower Park before turning back. Awesome
day for the end of Nov.

We were out on Friday and when we left from Bethel there was hardley any stuff in the water, but on the way back there was stuff all over.
I guess i'll just follow a jet boat the next time.

The Delta sweeper, that's a way to think about it! It probably
didn't help that I had to tow a boat from the middle of Mildred
Island all the way to Orwood with the bow of my boat pointing
up! Thank god the tide was up and we got across the levey.
As it was we got back to Orwood around 7:30 pm. That was the
tow from hell! What a way to end the day! But hell, I got to spend
a couple more hours on the water

It is nice to see people that will tow others in need. It had to be really dark by 7:30?
