first trip to the delta (or anywhere else)

i'm planning on taking my lil 17' jetboat out for the first time, tomorrow. i'm planning on heading out to the delta. just looking for recommendations on where i should go to launch. i'm coming from san leandro, so closer is better. i just wanna take a first trip out to make sure everythings okay, nothing fancy. thanks.

Orwoods resort. easy launch and close to highway 4

Times two for Orwood, watch out for the H2OPOHPOH coming back in, in the evening looking for a reason.

Orwood has the best launch ramp and a good place to eat. My second choice would be Sugar Barge. Also has a very nice restaurant and bar. It is closer to you. Google up their web site.

ORWOOD!! Easy launching and everything you need... Food, convenience store and petrol!! FTW!!

thanks guys! my lady and i launched from orwoods last weekend (my first time ever launching and driving a boat) and had a blast. everything was great (except for a lil engine trouble- a new one is getting installed as i type). even had a problem backing down the ramp to retrieve the boat, and there were several nice people on hand willing and able to help me out. i couldn't of had that much fun without yours and their help. thanks again.
