because it has an unbelievable large micron rating. Something like 60 microns. Flows like the Hoover Dam, but not the best filter out there for a non racing applications.
As opposed to the Fram "racing" filter, and VR1, the Wix racing filter is a true race only filter.
Your best bet for flow verses filtering is the Wix/Napa Standard filter, Baldwin, K&N/Mobil 1.
