Camshaft i.d.
Wondering if anybody can tell me the specs on this cam and the maker.
It's out of a BBC
It has two sets of numbers on it and a symbol that looks like two C's on top of each other,one slightly higher than the other.I cant find my camera cord so no pics.
The numbers are NA4550 and 280 S 10
I've tried looking the numbers up on crane,comp and crower sites with no luck.
I'm hoping someone here will know.
I want to go bigger but I need to know where I'm at now.

Chosing a cam based on the one thats in there is crazy. Think the one thats in there now was chosen based off the one before that.
You don't chose a cam based on what the engine currently has, or what you THINK it needs because you think this one is too small, or based on the one your buddy runs.
You select a cam based on what the engine needs based on the build and the use.
Other wise you might as well throw a dart at a board.

Your question about a V drive. Its fine for a v-drive in the right engine.
