    sounds like a lot of "dipshits" were involved.

    You should have told one of the dipshits, I guessing the one that measured it, that you want to use 2002CP's calculation method on it.

    Weight the engine, put the piston at BTC, fill the cylinder with water. Weight the engine again.
    Subtract 118 cc of water for the combustion chamber, = 118 grams

    540CID = 1106.1268247 grams of water/8=138.2658530875 grams per cylinder.

    The plug hole/threads will not be square with the top of the piston. It would never be a true 90. It was just a thought...

    it wasn't a terribly fun weekend, although learning did take place. the thing is, people apply for these positions. they aren't drug off the street to do it. this guy very arrogantly and condescendingly "ordered" me to pull the head - it was not pleasant. the owner just kind of shrugged his shoulders. because if you are running a class with engine restrictions, set a record and then refuse, you are in even deeper shit. and i know you're just giving the guy crap, but seeing bore x stroke x 8.... just amazing.
