Cavitation rod leaking at hose
Does anyone know who makes this thru hull hardware? With the hose clamp as tight as I can get it the blasted thing still leaks and the hose looks to be brand new. Seems to me I remember a thread showing half moon shaped pieces that went on the outside of the hose to help the hose clamp put pressure on the sides to create a good seal?
Anyone have any good ideas how to improve this.....
Franger, never seen that EXACT setup, but I think there is something missing there. The outside piece is suppose to be screwed to a matching piece inside. Not to the hull. If you go to page 68 in this catalog (sorry its a PDF and I am not smart enough to convert it) will see what it should look like.

I only posted it to let you know what you have is incomplete. There should be an inboard part to that regardless who made it.
