There are some high-temp powder coatings that can take up to 1200 degrees. They are usually black, a silver color, and a titanium gray. But...I still vote ceramic.
At least I think those high-temp coatings aren't ceramic based.........
If it flies, floats, or fornicates you are bound to have trouble with it.
No powder coat can handle it. Maybe on logs but not headers. Ceramic coat them and be done with polishing forever
aren't you in texas? If I'm not mistaken Jett Hot is there in texaz no? Their one of the best ceramic coaters in the nation. lookem up, get'em coated and enjoy. If you run them dry you may have to occasionally hand polish them from the flange out 3" or so if you want to maintain that new shine but that just anal perf. preference. Good luck with whatever you choose.
yep i'm in texas, i didnt know jet hot was in texas, i heard of wolfe's coatings they are in la porte which is near houston, about 120 miles from me.
