    Default Fuel pressure setting

Ok I am running a BBC 427 with a 6-71 blower, and 2 750 CFM Holley carbs. The boat has never had a fuel pressure guage since i've had it, so I installed a liquid filled holley guage. At idle,( 1100 RPM) it reads 6 psi. Can someone tell me what it should be. i have been told between 7-9 psi is good. Just need some advice before i tweek it. thanks,

I have mine set at 8 psi, also running an 871 and two 750s. My system is set up on a loop instead of a return line, it loops through an enderal bypass regulator and back into the the flow, down stream of the pump. Gives me plenty of volume and steady pressure.

I would keep an eye on the pressure at WOT if it drops I would look into at least a loop. It is easier on the pump also.
