Yeah, I don't understand the - I guess - question?

600SCi is the little brother to the 700SCi. Fuel injected, supercharged, and intercooled. Biggest advantage over normally-aspirated 525 is HP vs. DA. The 525 makes ~540hp or so AT SEA LEVEL. The boost/timing/ fuel on the 600 is constantly adjusted via the ECM for density altitude. So, you will have 600hp at sea level or 6000 feet.

So, they are throwing boost away at sea level? Or do they magically speed up the blower at altitude?

btw, the OP's question before he edited it away was how much HP would be lost by changing the tube headers to alum manifolds. No telling why he removed it.

the 600sci and 700sci have a boost valve that opens at a set boost level, on my 600sci the stock computer would open the valve at 4.5 psi now with a whipple stage two kit it opens about 8 psi

Newer blowers, other than the pre-historic 71 cubic-inch-per-cylinder, have bypass valves to regulate the boost. The pulley makes sure there is MORE boost than needed and then the valve bleeds it off to keep HP constant. Sorta like a waste-gate.
