I'm looking to help increase performance on my '84 Eliminator. Currently it has a SBC in it with an old Gibson Log style exhaust. These look alright but seem pretty old and are basically just a rectangular block.
I found a company out of Florida that is selling some Stainless Headers for the BBC, the description says they are similar to the Basset System out there, fully polished, 3/8" flange, etc.
Currently they don't offer a Small Block Chevy option but would be willing to make a run of 10 or 12 sets if they felt the need was out there. I'd love to get a set, from what I have seen (ebay storefront) the BBC headers are going for around $500 - $600; compared to the$1000+ systems I've seen online seems like a logical step to me.
Anyone out there believe that there could be a market for more performance parts for the Small Blocks? Cash isn't always flowing as freely as I would like. If it were I'd love to replace the mouse motor with the Rat motor but that ain't gonna happen right now![]()
Here's a pic of the current BBC setup they are offering.
