I'd look at Weldon.

Try product engineering ph 763 691 6391. Very knowledgeable and looks at the entire fuel system.

2 walbros is enough fuel to create scrap, so you must run 3 if you were going that route. I would only do 3 walbros as an in tank mount which makes a dual fuel tank setup weird (since it's a lake deal).

What happened that makes you not like aeromotive?

Weldon is my second choice but not cheap. If you have room for a belt drive setup it'll work. I'd say a belt drive, reservoir tank setup (good feed to external electric pump/s) or an in tank pump/s is needed if you want this to be safe in a boat.

2,3, or even 4 walbros is a common street car mod.

You have to use an electric pump for starting.

I use an Aeromotive A1000 to start the engine and a 990 Enderle takes over.

Like Ron said, an electric pump to put some pressure in the fuel rails for starting and then the mechanical pump takes over.

I put an inexpensive in tank electric pump in this year and it has worked great.
45 psi in the line in a second.
Submersible fuel pump

My experience with the Enderle is that they need gravity feed to the inlet, John Deere style.
That wouldn't work for my application.

I used an Aeromotive cam drive main pump and they will draw fuel up out of the side tanks.
