Not only does Mike Harrah live in Havasu, the engine was built in Havasu as well. If you don't know who Mike is, you may wish to hold you ignorant comments. The man is an extremely animated madman. And he is extremely wealthy.
First, its his money, and if it gets his rocks of so be it. More than a couple of people were employed and made money building that thing. Its part of what make this economy run. Their is a custom hand built truck that the enigne will be going it. Which is also being built in Havasu. Is it something I would do? NO! But its not my money.

Rich people spend their money on toys. I know. I made virtually every dime in the past 10 years on homes bigger many warehouses. Nobody needs 33,000- 50,000 sq ft to live in, but its their money, and if they wish to give me some, I'll take it!

Mike built the Lake Havasu Resort(originally the Queens Bay) and was entered in to the Guiness Book of Records for building that many sq ft in that amount of time.
He also built almost as much in Hawaii as Tom Gentry did. Ever see some of Gentry's toys.

He also ran, and won his division in the Parker 9 hr with the first successfull turbocharged BBC in a 20 ft RaysonCraft.

The man gives away more money that most us will ever make.

As for the stupid comment about the car not having spark wires. Well, look at the source. I guess If you can't see em, they don't exist.

Peersonally, the whole thing sounds like sour grapes envy to me!

Well, I agree with GN-7 on The wealthy attributes and how he can spend it any way he wants. Eveveryone knows that an injected BBBig Block with Blowers will rule the earth. But, Where is the debate in here with mfi vs efi. I think if he mapped it out he could have hit 3250 at 2500 rpm and held it to 3100.I would have used High Helix screw blowers with whipple noids.

I used to work for Mike at his FBO at the Havasu airport. His 3 hangers are full of very expensive toys.
I watched them build that motor, they are working on the truck to put it in now, should be close to done.
Hes got the batmobile from the Keeton batman movie, cobra attack helicopter, drag cars, ECT.
Hell, He even used to race a GN boat
