looks good but i usually put the sensor in from the top such that it (maybe) has a better chance of staying in when Donnie makes me run thru the rough water. A little piece of the sticky foam included in the Kit (just over the sensor end) may help too.

By the way how'd it taste?

Now ya tell me, and why wasen't this mentioned in the fancy instruction sheet...huh?
I'll go with a piece of the MikeT special application foam backed sticky-tape.
I'm excited yet a little nervous.

Ohhhh yea I love my MikeT strap-On! >did 50 miles yesterday on the Delaware River...at a 3800/4000 rpm cruse oil temps were a 'tad' lower vs Anna >water temp was a tad lower too (150) >oil psi is better with 20-50 vs 15-40.
Engine ran good, holeshot is strong >pulls fricken hard!
New MSD RTR seems ok but has to earn my trust (mallory dual point in a bag and ready to go in-if needed).
I honestly feel the Jomar stud girdle made a difference. Holding the valve gemotery in place has to make for improved responce = happy engine!

Still didn't go for WOT as there was some huge debris floating the the water from all our storms ...I had to keep a serious eye open!

Hammer if you don't mind me asking, I'm curious to what oil temps you were seeing and what lenght of time you ran to reach that point.

Keep in mind, temps were noted from the MikeT Strap on the filter. >to the bearings will be hotter +10 degrees??? ask MikeT

It seemed to take a good 10 mile run @ 3800/4000 rpm, oil was 190/195.
At lake Anna with 15/40 and warmer water temps>165 it would go to 205-210 about the same distance and oil psi would drop to 48/50 > at rpm.

Yesterday >The only time oil read over 200 was coming off the run then shutting down the engine. > it hit 205 >start it up, idle around oil temp would drop to 170.

Yesterday my water temp never crossed 150 (for what its worth)

I'm seeing simular readings with the same oil, except I haven't changed to 20/50 Redline yet (not enuff hrs.).

Are you still thinking you need a cooler?

Heck, I left you at the bridge at Anna like you had an anchor down >You'll need 30 miles just to catch me...AND...you'll have to stop mid way to adjust your lifters!
MikeT made me say the lifter part.

Just make sure your MikeT Tow Patrol's there > Rat made me say the tow thing.
