New Port, RI - folks????

I'm up here for some training for a couple of weeks. Looks like I'll have a three day weekend to fill up. Any recommendations on things to do? I'm from Texas and this is about as far North as I've been. Thanks for any recommendations.

Newport is a great town, just not during the winter. You can't go wrong with most restaurants, most are pricey though. But if you go one place, it has to be the Brick Alley Pub.
