Sorry I missed you guys a couple of week ago at the Frosty Ball. I was probably out of town that weekend..........or was not invited! To tell you the truth, I didn't know anything about it.
Anyway, it would be great to see the old group again down at the Flats. Nothing has changed; it's still the same weekend crowd. We went there once last summer. It is most definitely better on a Friday. Saturday there is a lot more boat traffic.

are these called the flats or the sandbar located between Havre-De-Grace and Northeast Md. Is this still a happening place
Years ago I towed from SEPA to Havre all the time...the problem was, I was towing for two hours(round trip) and actually boating from the Havre ramp > a few short miles to the sandbar and there we would sit all day. Couldn't run on a Saturday or Sunday due to the larger boat wakes. One year we launched at NE River and burned to the sandbar...that was on a Thursday/Friday and was fun, but haven't done it since.
Oh and not to mention the stinking MD toll $$$
where are you located I grew up in Del. county but moved to upper Mont county few years ago. I just bought a sleekcraft last week hope to have it ready for water this year we'll see. Looking for boaters who have the same kind of boats in common.
I'm pretty sure I'll be back from vac that weekend, maybe I could trailer mine down. Will a 16ft Tahiti survive the wake lol? I'm an hour north of Baltimore. This is freshwater correct?
