Yo NUT, as I mentioned prior, I use to always tow north to Linden av (22 miles one way)...I haven't launched there since before they redone the parking lot. I now use the Ridley Marina off I-95 just south of the International airport. >I't a pay ramp.
Rancocas was fun hanging with the racers (DVBRC)...not many go there anymore, just a few as they also travel to other locations to go boating.

Yo NUT...did they ever improve the dock at the Frankford Arsenal?
Years back I launched there and had a heck of a time getting my boat back on the trailer > heavy tide current
I also didn't feel my truck/trailer was safe in that parking lot > several undesirables walking around

    Yo Hammer,

The ramp isnt to bad to use,but the current does rip trough there. It was quiet until recently now that people are remembering its there, mostly jetskiers that seem to come from west philly, buy a ski and go out for the first time, pretty scarry watching most of them,as for being secure i havent had any problems YET.if im only going out after work ill use it but if my truck and trailer are going to be there all day id much rather go up to nashimany.

Those damn wave runners/jet skiers and their ignorant-ass owners are the reason the racers (DVBRC) haven't used Linden av in a loooong time. Heck, even I can't remember that last time I launched there > but use to do it all the time for years!
The (the racers) travel to the Jersey side and launch a Lightning Jacks then it's a easy cruse to the Rancocas Creek. They also go to Trenton(somewhere) and there's another river in NJ they visit to.
Too bad about Frankford Arsenal > but that's why I won't use it.
There's also a free ramp under the Commodore Barry Bridge > in Chester > good luck finding my truck/trailer in that shit-hole area.

I'd rather pay the ramp fee at Ridley Marina and know my stuff is safe.
The only bad thing is, yes there is a current(but manageable) at the docks but, it has 2 excellent ramps.
I'm heading out tomorrow for a cruise > maybe up to Penn's Landing, doubt I'll go any further north. There's a little cove on the Jersey side boats hang out at, even has a little beach to get out of the boat.
    Take care, Ray

    Yo Hammer,

Of course my boats gassed up and ready to go but its not a good day for me,maybe one day next week if your up for it? I can meet at pennslanding and cruise south with ya? I don't mind spending 10 bucks to have a nice secure ramp to use but during the week the travel time it takes to get to one cuts down on boating.Let me know if a day next week will work

Traveling 95 anywhere near the city between 7-9am and 3-6pm M-F sucks ass.
I'll keep an eye on the weather for next week but I see M/T look good so far.
I'm heading out Saturday > if the rain holds off.
