Not going to happen for me.

I just found out that my Dad is dying and I need to get to see him asap. Trouble is he is in New Zealand and I am screwed financially right now so the Schiada has to go. I am letting it loose to the first person with cash and the knowledge that it is a project in the making.

Anyone need a 1978 21' RC, Big Block, twin turbo, nitrous.

Seriously, I need cash right now...

Sorry to hear about your Dad, we wish you both the best in this situation.

You should post up some pic's and details on the boat.

Thanks for the thoughts, I do appreciate it.

I don't want to overstep the mark here by putting a "for sale" type post in the discussion forums but the best case scenario would be for a somewhat local person to take it off my hands.

I'm in a hurry as you can imagine and I would like to see him before he goes if I can, it is touch and go right now apparently.

The boat is far from pretty. It is in need of some serious tidying up...

The bow eye ripped out last year, not a huge deal but still work none the less. It needs a new prop, the interior is usable but old and the triple axle trailer is very rusty with two blown tires.

It has been on Candlewood for the past few seasons with just a few minor issues such as we have all experienced with this kind of boat. Originally from CA, I had it shipped out in '07 and it was not what I expected it to be in terms of the condition. My fault entirely for not being able to go out to see it first. Live and learn.

500+" Chevy. It has an Art Carr 3 speed transmission, a Race Aero twin turbo setup, Casale, (gears unknown), 300 shot nitrous kit, dual batteries, (one is suspect), adjustable cav plate, oil cooler with a broken fitting, trans cooler, dual external oil filters, MSD,

Looks like crap...the photos make it look better than it is.

I need to get the cost of two air fares to NZ at short notice so I am saying $6k, cash only, tow it away.

I might want the motor. If someone on the west coast wants the hull, maybe we can get together and make burbanite a deal

    Thanks for the interest guys.

Although my post count here is low I was around the old Hot Boat since it was a pay site back in the day. I know many off you by their user name but not too many personally, I have always been geographically separated from the majority but I will say that over the years those that have had any dealings with me would vouch for my credibility. I am in a situation I would rather not be in but need to do this for my Dad.

I bought his sight unseen from CA and was disappointed in it's condition so I want to be sure that everyone understands this is no gem, it is an older boat in need of updating. I had resigned myself to the fact that it was to be my project but bigger things have come into my life. Family first.

I will be as honest as I can and give anyone any pics I have but please bear in mind I am on the East Coast, have a job that I must attend and am dealing with my Dads situation on the other side of the world so don't get annoyed if there is a delay in me getting back to you.

Likewise. Just call my cell whenever you need something.

My emails are steve@highcroftracing.com and burbanite223@att.net, if you send it to both I'll get it regardless of where I am.
