Are you looking for something else you can put in the garage and hardly use?

Most of us poor people have to sell a toy to get a toy.

That means I will never win.

Very Low miles for the bottom end, if the plugs look good it's a runner for a Looooooong time. Depends on what guides HD slammed in the heads at that time > mostly Iron, which is fine but were set up a little loose and could/maybe start puffing around 35,000. If it's a good one those early 80" Shoves could go a lot of miles before even thinking about pulling the heads for guides.
The hot set-up is to completely seal-off the primary from the engine return > so no clutch dust/particles is recirculated back into the engine oiling system. I did this to my Shovel decades ago.

For the year, sure. Original owner > this matters too.
Again, the lowerend is almost bullet proof > not like someone would be doing 5000 RPM burnouts with that type of bike.
The only weak link is the valve guids, but if the plugs burn clean w/no oil at the exhaust tips it could go a long time before it needs a wrench put to the heads.

I have a good friend that's about to pull the trigger on a 1967 FLH on eBay located in N. Jersey. He also called to ask my advice.

My Shovel engine, tranny, and drive line are all 1979.
The only problem was, the prior owner has a bad valve job done on it. Of course once I realised that I went through the entire engine > the lower-end was within spec and like I said pretty much bullet proof. I simply honed it, ringed it and did a valve job using bronze guides and better seals. I put tons of miles on it before I put the Hot-Rod shit in...and still used the same original flywheels and tranny .
