did you not forget some things:

    gas for the grill

    "Hurricane grade wax"

    "low barometric pressure air"

    Bathtub full of water.

and a few other things not mentioned (beads, gerbils, electrical tape...etc)

I dont think it is going to be that bad around here, rain and windwise, but Doug dont think so either, so i am wary. Dont have to be bad in Montgomery County to loose power, so i am getting the generators primed and ready. I also got to get up an antenna for the TV to pick up local HD stations...i never picked up a local station since they went to HD.

Flooding on the Tidal waters could be very bad. I would love to be at Riners to watch this thing. Wonder if he pulled his boat.

MikeT, being my/your 21' Junk isn't in a climate controlled garage with a big screen TV showing 'wax' commercials to keep it company...I'll be double wrapping the 21 Daytona with carbon fiber clothes line and stuffing Pampers under the several tarps to protect it from falling branches.
What I have for the Hurricane...
    1) drugs > ativan, xanax, Valium, Lunesta, Ambian and lots of Klonopin.
    2) two 30 packs of brew
    3) two jugs of Vodka w/ cranberry and one of The Captian Spiced Rum with Coke.
    4) food...canned Chicken broth w/roasted herbs and vegetables.
Heck, don't need no stinking Hurricane for the above...that's my daily deal!

3 trees down in my yard, wind is kickin ass right now. There's a hell of alot of water out there, the neighbors retention pond has been waaay overflowed since the morning came. A big maple in my back corner split and the biggest part landed in a neighbors garden.Already pumped out the over flowing pool.

None of this bothers me in the least, due to the fact that I know Wet is sitting in his boat at his shop waiting for the flood....
