RRBA event dates on the Rappahannock...

Hey guys & gals,

Event dates have been posted for the Rappahannock River Boaters Association 2010 events.
They are-
June 5th- RRBA Annual Radar Run. Think your boat is FAST??? Come find out on the Rappahannock! Who will be in the 100 MPH club?

August 7th- RRBA Annual Fun Run. Departing from June Parker Marina, come enjoy a day of fun in the sun! Beach party with good friends, food & drinks, horse shoes...and sweet boats!

August ??? (TBD)- Mattaponi Madness Drag Boat Races. For the second year in a row the RRBA & the Mattaponi Volunteer Rescue Squad will team up with Rainbow Acres Campground in King & Queen County for some side-by-side drag boat action. Come out and support the Rescue Squad and enjoy a day of drag boat action. Plenty of parking, food & beverages, and good times. Date will be announced soon!!!!

June Parker Marina is located at 531 N. Church lane, Tappahannock, VA 22560. It is directly off of Route 17 in Tappahannock VA.

Mattaponi Madness is located at Rainbow Acres Campground. It's located at 514 James Road, King & Queen Courthouse, VA 23085. Number is 804-785-9441.

You can also go to Mattaponimadness.com and view the race format from last year and driving directions, etc. Please keep in mind though, this site has not been updated yet to reflect this years race! You can still find out everything about the event however.

Hope this helps. As we get closer to these events, I will be able to post more detailed info for all those interested.
