Date change for RRBA's Radar Shoot. Tappahannock Va.

The Rappahannock River Boaters Association is holding their anual radar shoot on Saturday June 26 starting at 12 noon.

This is a closed course event. The Resque Squad and dive team will be on the river if needed. Permits have been obtained and the Coast Guard will be helping with the course.

Jet boaters can launch their boats at the event site. Directions for you guys are, take route 17 to Laytons Landing Rd. (Rt.637) and follow the signs.

Boats bigger than a jet need to put in at June Parker Marina. Located at 531 N. Church lane, Tappahannock, VA 22560. It is directly off of Route 17 in Tappahannock VA. After you leave Marina take left and go up river. You can't miss us.

Rappahannock River Boaters AssociationCome run against the gun. Doesnt matter if you run 20 mph or 140 mph, lets just have some fun. Pontoons, jets, cats, Offshore V's, jet skis, it doesnt matter. Course will be open from 12-3, festivities till whenever!! This is a free event whether you are watching or running so come on. B-BQ and our 2010 club T-shirts w...ill be available.If coming by land, take 17 to Laytons Landing Rd. (Rt.637) and follow the signs. We will also be accepting donations for MCV/VCU Oncology. Should be a good time. Where are all the guys with the nasty jet boats? Is everyone trailer racing this weekend or what?

Tomorrow morning.... should be a fun day.. I was hoping some more prop guys would wanna come out and play... Not like i have anything for them... Jus sayin
