I'm not sure what you're up against not being a real techy guy. Hopefully admin will see this soon.

Have you tried increasing the resolution on your monitor... Just a thought.

Do you see scroll bars or does it just run off the screen?

If it's the forums you are talking about there is not a lot I can do. The vast majority of our users access the site with resolutions at 1024px wide and above. As such the site is optimized to give them the best viewing.

You have a couple options. Firstly, it is possible that you have your screen resolution set lower than it needs to be. Ask someone near you who knows how to increase resolution, or next time I am near an XP computer I will try and make a video. Try setting your resolution to at least 1024 X 768.

The second option it to buy a new monitor or computer/graphics card, but the odds are unless you are using a very old laptop you can just do option one.

What sort of setup are you using?
    Laptop or desktop?
If Desktop is it a flat panel monitor?
    Windows or Mac OS?
How old a computer is it?

Admin, thanks....not the forums that go off the screen, it is the home page and video menu stuff. I use a desktop, Intel Pent. 4, new 17 flat monitor, windows, about 3 years old...this is the only sight with the issues so I assume it was not on my end???
I am not very tech-talented either!!!!

Changing type size will only work on some websites. I don't know if it will work in the forums, but it will almost defiantly not work on the main side of the site. I would love it if I could have written the whole site to operate with the text size feature working, but it just didn't make it into this version.

I will look into that for future versions however. If you have a 17" flat panel you will be a lot better off at 1024X768. That is very likely it's native resolution and will display much better that way. I have done the same thing with the upgrade in resolution and the text looking small. You get used to it really fast though, and then anytime you are looking at a lower res monitor it will drive you nuts. 1024 drove me nuts after going to 1280 wide, and now at 1900 something I can't use anything else.
