Hello, if you want some input for future articles, I really enjoy what frieghburger had been doing with Hot Rod magazine lately. Articles and interviews with the men who designed and built the equipment that's still being run today, Examples would include the history of casale v-drives, the evolution of the berkley jet pump. Old racing events and photos, history and interviews with people that have made a difference in all kinds of performance boating, how they got started, innovations and what drives them. Phil Bergeron, Jack Mcclure, Greg Shoemaker,Harlin Orin, there are a lot more interesting characters out there that their stories and history need to be heard. Since there are many of use who don't live in southern California, a lot of this information is just not ever heard of . Just my two cents, thanks
I was talking to Dave Sammons awhile back, and he talked alot about the history of the parker 300,Was fantastic learning the history of that iconic race. I would love to see old photos, drivers rosters and pictures of the old race boats, and basically how Parker looked in the 60's!!!
