Thanks I was just curious because I have heard they were not the best in a single application. Great #'s and good looking boat for sure.

    Redline:

I figured as much with the EU issues I am not surprised. I was wondering why they didn't ask for the new Mercury Silent mufflers. I did notice some funky exhaust tips/mufflers on the back of this boat. It appears they must be longer inorder to place the tips in the water to reduce decibel output. Then once on plane they come out of the water for performance purposes.

The NXT drive might be heavy but I have not heard of any failures in conjunction with the power output or prop selection. I guess only time will tell.

That 662 is a detuned 700 with a few more items added for EU purposes it still cranks out some power.

Great photos! How is your boat running any comments or numbers you care to disclose.

    Very truly yours,

    KAP

    Hey Kap,

My boat is running great I have had it up to 118 with ease, hell I had myself and 4 friends it topped out at 114, it will run down anything short of a drag boat 0-over 100 15 seconds, what I'm most inpessed with his how the boat handles at those speeds with the MMW MXS drive it turns on a dime and I ran a 100mph bassboat down in the river he told me at the landing that he had never seen a CAT running that fast take a curve, he had to slow down I haven't run the boat with just me and no ice chest full of drinks, and 80 gals fuel yet, should run 120-123
I'll try and get some photos of the cabin, came out nice with 2 American outdoors coolers

    Hey Redline:

Thanks for the update on your boat just wait that motor will give you more as the hours increase.

Trust me, I know all about coming up on people we own a deckboat and they usually mistake it for your average family cruiser then we get the standard response when we arrive at the no wake line--- ie... Hey! Buddy---- what the hell is in that thing.

A couple questions [orange boat] what is that box on the starboard side in the engine compartment and what is that thing attached to the rear swim step on the same side looks like a flag holder????

Keep the photos coming your gonna be the de facto ambassador for Redline.

    Very truly yours,

    KAP

P.S. The EU requirements are so stringent--- I hope we do not end up in a similar category with a bunch of B.S. laws from HP to noise.

The box in the back is for the anchor roap and the starboard side rear view that is the anchor mounted on the swim step...its quiet interesting how the do boats in Norway, if you notice there is no key to start the boat, it is all remote control, starting, anchor, and engine hatch. In Norway the dock all in a 45deg anglel bow forward they come in to dock drop anchor cruise up to the dock, tie up and use the remote to pull the anchor tight...keeps the boat bow off of the dock, no one can board the boat from the dock. Kinda Neat, what a good idea Trust me I am a long time RPM fan I am happy to help Steve out with Revolution, he is strapped to the gills with work anything that I can do to help promote RPM...Glad to do it. I get no perks from this if the boat was chit, ask Steve I would tell you I feel that when you get above and beyond you should give back trust me I'm a great tipper, just ask Steve!!!
