    4. FedEx told my husband that Rod had to file the claim.
    5. Rod emailed my husband and told him there would be a call tag sent out.
    6. We left the jet drive outside and FedEx picked it up.
    7. We received our money back from Rod.

Fast forward to today, when I received a threatening call from Rod, at my place of work, saying that he has "friends in low places" and will get us.

Had the part not been damaged, it would be in our boat right now.

I explained to Rod that we did not and would not remove parts from the jet. And that we wouldn't have had time, even if we wanted to. We would never screw anybody, we don't need to.

Rod is upset because FedEx denied his claim because it was improperly packaged, which means, unfortunately, he is out the $200 for the part. I don't know how we became such terrible people. If any of you had bought a part, had it damaged in shipping, you wouldn't want to have to pay for the part either.

Oh, by the way, thanks to whomever called my husband to say to watch out for Rod because he is a "lying, cheating, piece of s***", and to tell us about this forum. By the way, Rod started bashing us before he ever contacted us.

Anybody and especially on this site can admit, that they don't like people to call them and harrass and threaten them, when they know they are not in the wrong.

Again, we are sorry to Rod that he is out the money, but it is not our fault that the part was damaged in shipping.

True but I don't believe any if us would have taken parts from the damaged pump before returning it.

You might want to review post # 1. Seems clear to me.

This is a theft, you should do a criminal report and if you get a good cop they should do a search warrant and get your parts back even if it means taking apart his boat to get them.

Hotrod56. on behalf of the "PB Sharks", frenzying over the taste of blood in the water, do no let up......You've got this guy by the shorhairs and he's baffled on how you've come out of nowhere with all this information. It's stuck in, now turn it and break it off!!!!!!!!!

I'd suggest sending Chaz an email directing him to this thread. If we can get him here and signed up, it'll be worth the $203.00 admission to watch him get "schooled"......

............... So today the jet drive gets taken apart only to discover the shaft was replaced with a junk shaft, the impellor was replaced with a cracked impellor, one of the seals was missing, and the wear ring was missing too.
What proof is there that the internals were like that before or after the sale?

Big difference between damaged goods and missing parts!

Who was the rat that called you?

Ask your Hubby how the internal parts got changed??????

This isn't a democratic site, you're guilty here until proven innocent when a member has been challenged.

Also the matter of the bogus phone number to eBay. You've got homework to do girl. This isn't over until we say its' over......

Honestly if you have a reasonable explanation give it now. If not make good to the man. Pretty simple......
