Fuel Pump Problems

I'm on my second NEW Holley blue pump. Wired the first one with the fuse setup. Would run about 10 minutes and overheat and shut off. Let it cool off and it will go for another 10 minutes. I emailed Holley, they said it was a bad pump and to exchange it.
Ordered a new one, and the fuel pump relay kit. All hooked up according to instructions. This pump does the same as the other, runs about 10 minutes and overheats and shutsdown. Tried several different prefilters and nothing made a difference.
Anyone got any Ideas??

With todays's fuel they have removed all lubracation from the fuel. I want you to try something and report back if it solves your problem. Had the same problem on a twin turbo motor we did for a customer. Go to your auto parts store and purchase some Marvel Mystery oil. Read the directions and follow them to the T. I beleive 4 oz to 10 gallons of fuel is the proper dosage. This will lubracate the fuel and prevent the fuel pump from overheating.
