    Default My TPR Cheyenne ????

Hello Greg I wanted to ask you a few questions about my boat .. I am totally new to the tunnel hull boats, I have been running a Gull Wing for the past several years and wanted to get into drag boat racing so I pick up this Cheyenne.. This boat used to run PGJ and being new to this I am gonna try to run ME with it .. I am wondering with the big horse power difference how much changing am I gonna have to do with the hardware setup .. I think Jay ran around 950+ HP and I might be pushing 700. The boat does have the low profile intake in it and currently has a flat shoe in it, bottom was done by Ervin Capps with the dropped keel.. I have yet to run the boat, I just got the engine and pump finished .. Like i said i'm totally new to the tunnel world ..

    Thanks

Its the sister boat to Ron Pitts Sunday Showdown

It really comes down to shoe depth, Nozzle angle , engine placement and rideplate angle. All of these items will have to be addressed being you are taking 250 hp out of the boat and running 700 hp. Feel free to call me at the shop and I will see what set up you have now and would you would have to change for your engine. 951 272 6060
