Default anyone make a intercooler for carburetor?

I am putting together a twin turbo bbc with the race aero exhaust manifolds and will be using a blow thru carburetor and wondering if anyone builds an intercooler for the top of the carburetor to make for simple hook up.

Have you ever seen the ones on the 86-88 ford thunderbird turbocoupe 2.3l? fuel injected but i've seen a couple polished up and they actually look pretty bitchin. I don't have a pic sorry..used to have the car though. don't know if this is remotely what you're thinking about though.

    Default Cool can

Used to use "cool cans" when draggin back in the 70's did not cool air but chilled the fuel, dry ice in a container with a coil. before fuel rail, simple yet effecient.

Search for Gale Banks on the net. He built a single and I think dual blown through inter-cooler. You could always run it on methanol, self inter-cooled.

You could check on racingjuck.com too

Why not a couple of draw thru carbs and intercooler? Much easier. I have complete race arrow system and Richard Lee system.

you can't get the hp or tq from a draw thru that you can easily get from a blow thru. lots of fellas goin to blow thru on boats this winter

look on ebay and type in 2000hp air to water intercooler. there's a 159 buck job there that'd work great for what you're wanting to do. we're using 2 of the 2000hp air to water coolers from ebay on a big boost blow thru 496 project, then y-ing those into a carb bonnet from ev.

Enlighten me please. Maybe I should give up on my plans to use a 16 injector EFI system and just put a couple of big throttle bodies in a box and blow thru. Isn't the power and torque made from the combustion of the proper AFR and not the means to deliver the air and fuel to the cylinders? Brummett and Banks and the Race Arrow systems all seem to work pretty well.

Yesterday I was looking on somebodys site or Ebay and saw something that looked like a carb spacer but had an inlet/outlet on the sides that were for running water through it. I'll see if i can find it.
