Since it's technically for the rear of the pump, I'm gonna have to say Anal Ease

Let's say I have a "friend" who filled up the bowl with oil and when he
started the engine, all the oil blew out the jet.
    What does this mean?

Well I'd say the front bowl seal is shot or there is excessive wear on the shaft where the seal is supposed to seal. Cracked bowl??? The rear plug is loose or missing???

Any cheap Gear oil if fine.
No "gears" in there, just a shaft and bushings. I've run cheap thick straight wt oil also...no problem.

I was talking to Dave at Aggressor, he said that the seal doesn't work that well on the bowls for purposes of keeping water out, better to use grease.
