    Default Thanks GS Marine

Just wanted to say thanks to Greg and Mike D. for helping me out this weekend. They met me at GS early this morning, flipped the boat over, let us make a huge mess out front and let me keep my boat there while Jeff finishes up.

    Thanks guys, really appreciate it.

    Chris.

What was I thinking. You gotta run in the 7s to be on our team. Glad to see your getting the boat done. So does this mean you will make the race?

You guys are just too fast for me. I just want to test to be honest, if I could get back into the low low 8s I would be happy.

This does not mean I will make the race but I am trying, we will see how things go this week.

Did you get the 516 fixed??

Default 21 DAYTONA shoe and ride plate

How is it going i have a 84 21 daytona tring to set up the ride plate and shoe. What depth of the shoe should i try? I ve heard that a 21 needs alot of shoe below the keel? What if you have a drop keel? were should the ride plate be a good starting point. I have a 572 with 1471 dual 1050s innercooler set be if the ride plate is to low will it keep the front end down? Were would back pump droop snoot and a six inch spacer between the bowl and dro heavy with all the gear swim step and everything. It use to run good wedge op. Which way should i wedge the droop down or up. The boat is veryup two degrees but i add more weight to the boat and it does not feel the same.
