Just a qiuck question for two different motors

1 Hp 500 how many hours until you need to do the valve spring mantenance is it 200 or 250 hours


2 In the early 90's there were two mtors the 330 hp with a carb and people are telling me an HO version of 365 are thsoe good motors.

shuld I stay away from them and go with the 454 mag 385. Your opinion will waver my purchase. I am ready to buy. I like the 454 or 502 mags but they are asking about 5k more for these packages. Also the boats are a bit newer in a age anywhaere from 3 to 5 years newer
