hey greg ive heard a lot about u and im almost done building my first jet boat and well i have a couple questions where is a good place to run the temp sender for the water i had it on the top of the intake manifold but that didnt seem to work on when i was breaking in the motor so now i have it plumed into a tee before it exits the boat what do u think of that and also would you happend to have any berkeley rudders laying around mine is the one that has the pin and bolt in it i have a half plastic one but i rather have a metal one and a lil longer like even a standard shorty thanks jeremy
Jeremy You temp sender is probably not going to read very much no matter where you install it. The top of the intake manifold is usually wher we install it and generally it will read somewhere around 100 degree's. Installing it on the overboard line is not a bad idea but I don't think you will see much difference in temp. Are you sure the gauge and sender are working? Turn the key on , take the sender wire off the sender and touch it to the intake manifold and see if the gauge pegs that will tell you if the gauge and thwe wiring is good. Yes I'm sure I have a used rudder for your Berkeley. If you are planning to buy Place Diverter this rudder will not work on a Place Diverter.
nope no place diverter for me my pump wont accept one i wana just get on the water and learn the whole boating thing and go up from there im a baller on a budget i really need to stop by i need a few other trinkit parts also thanks jeremy
